Richard Petrone

I grew up in Rockville Centre with my family consisting of fifteen older siblings.
I went to South Side High School where I became Varsity Football captain in 1986, graduating in 1987. I then
went Marist College and played football for my freshman year. I then transferred to SUNY ALBANY, due to the
lack of finances in the family, and continued to play Football. I graduated in 1991 with a degree in Political
Science.

I then began my successful career on Wall Street in 1992. I worked very hard navigating the profession and
spent most of my career at Bear Stearns. I have the privilege of coaching my son’s football, baseball and
wrestling teams, and will coach Lacrosse in the spring. The youth Football league almost mirrors the 4th
Congressional District. I have been blessed with a beautiful wife and four children plus I am a registered
Republican.

I have spoken in front of the Conservative Society for Action; I had the opportunity to take unprompted
questions. These people are just like you and they want to save this nation. I have met many in our Republican
party both locally and in D.C.

My reason for wanting the privilege to represent you, my neighbors is very simple. As a person with over 17
years of being at the epicenter of Capitalism, I feel I have the right knowledge to bring fiscal responsibility and
the roll back to our government. I have specific Capitalist ideas on how to achieve this.

I understand where we are in history and I understand we are at a turning point. The individual will either take
back its rightful place by making the Government accountable to us, or our children will have no choice but to
live with overwhelming debt and limited freedom.

In each of these small steps toward becoming your Representative, I have been met with nothing but strong
encouragement. I have always had a deep understanding of geopolitics and history. I now have the opportunity
and the right motivation to help my family, friends and the entire 4th district. I have spoken to many scared
people in my district and they are looking for someone new to represent their voices in the Government.
Someone who is listening and I believe I am that person.

I will take the hard work of bringing your ideas to Washington not for me but for our children. Elect an
uncountable fellow citizen by voting, donating and volunteering, and let’s restart Democracy. Freedom isn’t
Free, but it won’t cost us that much to preserve it, compared to our Forefathers. The good news is the price is
relatively cheap; the bad news is the threat to our freedom has never been bigger.
