Our country faces an imminent danger of historic proportions. We no longer can worry about our own cabin. We have already hit the iceberg, and we are all on the Titanic. The cancer of Socialism has been growing slowly and now, under this administration, this country is now in a terminal condition. The dollar is continuing its decline because the U.S. government is spending and printing money so fast that our foreign creditors no longer believe we can pay our debts. The Obama administration is convinced we are so beat into submission by political correctness, apathy and fear, that they are free to impose their un-American nightmare on us. They believe the people are so broken down that they are willing to take help from the government, no matter what the price. I am not so broken down. And I don’t think most people are. I know there are real solutions to both revive the economy and restore the rights of the individuals This may be America's darkest hours, with enemies to freedom that are foreign, terrorists, and domestic, the liberal elite. This is the wrong administration, at the wrong time, fighting the wrong fight. If we don’t stand up right now, this country, "this shining city on the hill,” will become a third rate nanny state -- or worse. SOLUTIONS Domestic the government has enough of our money; they just can’t keep track of it and have no respect for it. Let’s use our best weapon, capitalism, and offer all private independent accounting companies a percentage of the waste they find in our budgets. They would work harder, they would create jobs, and they would save billions of dollars. The Congress would no longer be free to waste our money. Simplify the tax code, lower the rates. Amputate whole sectors of the government. The government should be there to protect us, and be the referee of our capitalist system, not the owner of the team. Privatize. Government takes $3 to do what private companies can do for $1. Let’s create jobs and cut waste by letting entrepreneurs do what the government can’t do for us. One of the most successful men I have ever met said “Who wouldn’t be happy running a business that makes 20%?’’ I am happy to let this man make 20% and to efficiently provide services to the people, instead of paying a bureaucratic system 300% more to provide it inefficiently. Pay czars? Anyone alarmed by this? Blaming the guy that creates jobs and tax revenue? This position was created by the same organization that is itself unable to tell you how its own budget works or where your money is. This is the Twilight Zone. The private sector, which made this country rich, should be the czars of the government. We should make tax exemptions for green manufacturing, service, and technology companies that are willing to base their operations in the areas hit hardest by this recession. The U.S. led the world in manufacturing, then service, software, and information technology. We need another leap to stay on top. The future is in green technology. It frees us from foreign energy and gives us a much needed new product/service to export. It should be a high priority Legal reform. We need to put technology into the court system, just like we are trying with healthcare. We must streamline, make more efficient, EVERY ASPECT OF GOVERNMENT, unless it can be privatized. Foreign END THE APOLOGY TOUR! The U.S. is still the last greatest hope for mankind. Why should we apologize for rebuilding our enemies after World War II and giving them freedom and prosperity? Should we apologize for holding off communism, the greatest menace to mankind, in the USSR and China? Together they killed 200 million people and left the rest in poverty. Ronald Reagan stepped up and challenged us and them. We won, when everyone thought it was impossible. One man’s faith in right and wrong changed the world and bankrupted a morally evil system. We need that type of feeling again. We can and will stand up and re-win the war against socialism, this time at home. Foreign terrorists intend to kill innocent people. There should be no moral equivalence. It is good vs. evil, just like the Cold War. The U.S. should fight to win, despite the liberal mainstream media’s attempts to demoralize us and embolden them. Isn’t it funny that if there is a hint of racism, sexism, or any other kind of denial of social rights in the U.S., the liberals go crazy? IF IN IRAN WOMEN ARE STONED FOR BEING RAPED, SHOT FOR LEAVING THE HOUSE ALONE, IMPRISONED FOR PROTESTING , the liberals just don’t really seem to care. This is the same way that the feminists don’t care about conservative women’s rights here in the U.S. They loved a president that had sex in the White House with a 20 year old intern, but hated a great husband and father in President Bush. We need to increase the size of the military’s tip of the spear -- the foot soldier. How can we spend more than all the next ten largest countries and not have enough troops? The solution is to equip the foot soldier and make them as invincible as our Air Force is. Secondly, and more importantly, we should make everyone that serves our nation is tax-exempt for ten years during and after their service. I bet you would have some smart people sign up to get in the military and become entrepreneurs once they have completed their service. THE ENGINE OF CHANGE Talk to the people. They are smart. Explain the true situation they have gotten themselves into. Yes, we got ourselves into this mess and if we want a great country, we need to fix it ourselves. The people of this country are so disgusted with the government that they have no interest in it. I hardly know of anyone that can name his or her congressman or senators. I would like to tell the people the simple truth. When we don’t care, we create a power vacuum, and someone will take it. It is that simple. While great Americans have gone about their personal business, scared by political correctness, the special interests have taken over this country. Then the people say “Well, I hate politicians." Does this make sense? It is the 4th quarter and we are down big, but the game is not over. The other team has poured the Gatorade on Obama already, they are overconfident. And, little by little, people all across this nation are beginning to wake up and fight back. The pain of the present and the fear of our future are finally beginning to motivate people. The individuals that made this country great, the ones that have responded to freedoms, are starting to stir! They need faith not hope, they need to know “THEY CAN” not “We Can." This is what will save this nation. The great American, mother, father, daughter and son, they want the government off their backs and out of their pockets. They are looking for government to get out of their way instead of telling them what to do. We, as Republicans, need to get back to our principals, and our faith in the individual. We need to show them we will carry out their will and be accountable to them. We will stand with them, not above them. We will listen to them, not tell them, ask them to be part of the solution. I propose we challenge them to join with us, to not just wake up, but to stand up and yell “I want my American dream back, and I want my children to have it!” Through a massive good faith attempt to reach out to them, and through leadership that is humble, credible, and accountable, the people can and will take this country back.
